Come create a stunning mixed media collage-assemblage masterpiece with Andrea Matus & Michael deMeng while enjoying an artventure in the gorgeous city of Orvieto in the heart of Italy. This week long getaway features four fantastic days of art making and several tours designed just for our class. There will be cooking classes, wine and olive tastings, markets, tours, art and more art...and did I mention, we’ll be in Italy?!

In this workshop, you'll discover how to bring your art to life through mixed media techniques—layering collage, paint, and texture to create rich, symbolic pieces. Inspired by the duality of human nature. We’ll explore virtues and vices, learning how to express these themes with modern materials while paying homage to classical artists like Paolo Veronese.
This hands-on class will guide you step-by-step as you build your own visual stories. From selecting and arranging imagery to layering meaning with every brushstroke, you'll develop both your technique and narrative style. By the end, you’ll have a stunning series of artworks that reflect your personal take on virtue and vice.
